Frequently asked questions
How do I get started?
Open the app, create a group (family, friends, the Friday card club) and add the players. Then pick the game and start keeping score. If you want others to see the games on their phones, send them the group’s link or 6-letter code.
How do I join a group?
With the link you were sent: if you have the app installed, it opens automatically. If not, install Partidex, tap “I have a code”, enter the group code and choose which of the players you are.
Do all the players need the app?
No. Only the person keeping score needs it. Add everyone else by name, like Grandma. Anyone who wants to see the games and the leaderboard on their phone can join the group with the link.
Which games can I keep score for?
There are templates with the scoring rules for Chinchón, Mus, Brisca, Truco, Scopa, Burraco, Belote, Skat, Generala and Yatzy. For any other card, dice or board game, there’s free mode: add up rounds, play to any number of points, lowest score wins or team play.
We play by house rules
Rules vary from one table to another. If a template doesn’t score the way you do at home, use free mode or, with Partidex Plus, save your own templates. And if you think a template scores something wrong, write to us: we’ll look into it.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. You can record games offline: they’re saved on your phone and uploaded to the group as soon as you’re back online. You do need internet to create or join a group.
I made a mistake keeping score
Tap “Undo” and the last entry is removed. You can undo several in a row.
How does the yearly leaderboard work?
It counts the group’s games for the current year: each player’s wins, games played and streaks, overall and by game. Whoever comes first in each game takes the title of champion of the year. On January 1 it starts over from zero, and the history is kept.
Who can see the group’s games?
All the group’s members, and no one else. Heads up: with the link or the code, anyone can join, so only share it with your people.
I switched phones or deleted the app
Since Partidex doesn’t require sign-up, your account is tied to the app installation and we can’t recover it. Ask someone in the group for the code and join again: the games that had already been uploaded are still there. Those that were only on your old phone are lost.
How do I delete my data?
Right in the app: Settings → “Delete my data”; we’ll ask you to confirm. You leave all your groups and your user is deleted. Games that were already in a group stay there for everyone else, with your player as just a name. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
What does Partidex Plus include?
Plus removes all ads and adds full stats, your own templates and card table themes. You can get it with a monthly subscription, which renews automatically until you cancel it, or with a one-time lifetime payment. It belongs to whoever buys it: it isn’t shared with the group. The price in your currency is shown in the app before you buy.
How do I cancel the subscription?
The subscription is managed by the store, not the app:
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Partidex → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Partidex → Cancel subscription.
Do it at least 24 hours before the current month ends. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for. Heads up: uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. More details in the Terms.
How can I get Plus for free?
By recommending Partidex with your link, from Plus in the app. When someone uses it and finishes their first game, you each get a month of Plus, up to a maximum of 12 months. It’s checked automatically; you don’t have to do anything.
I paid and it’s not showing up. How do I restore my purchase?
First, make sure you’re using the same store account you bought it with (the same Apple ID or the same Google account). Then, in the app, tap “Restore purchases”. If it still doesn’t show up, write to us at hello@opharana.com and attach the receipt from Apple or Google. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google, not by us: they must be requested from the store where the purchase was made.
Why does it ask me for permission for ads?
Because the app is funded by Google AdMob advertising and, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the law requires us to ask for your consent before loading any personalized ad. On iOS, Apple’s tracking prompt also appears. You can decline: you’ll see non-personalized ads and the app works exactly the same.
I found a bug
Tell us at hello@opharana.com: give us your device model and system version, the game and what you were doing when it happened. If you can, attach a screenshot. It helps us a lot.
Where can I download the app?
Partidex is free for iPhone and Android. You’ll find the store links on the home page.
